Professor at Landshut University of Applied Sciences (Germany). PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington (Seattle). Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Peruvian Computing Society (SPC). Member of the interdisciplinary research group called Efficient Energy Systems at Landshut University of Applied Sciences.

He has worked on problems in highly scalable systems at Google and Amazon. In recent years, he has been interested in using large-scale computational techniques to solve energy efficiency and sustainability problems and has been working on the application of the internet of things to smart farming. He is currently conducting research on artificial intelligence techniques to improve the sustainability of fruit production through improved frost detection methods.
