Avid Román-González
Full professor at the National Technological University of South Lima (UNTELS). Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) senior member and National Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation (RENACYT) researcher in the Carlos Monge Medrano group, level I. Master’s degree in Industrial and Human Automation from Paul Verlaine University – Metz (France) and PhD in Signal and Image Processing from Télécom Paris (France). He pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University (UPCH).
He has conducted research work for the National Centre for Space Studies (CNES) (France) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) (Germany). His research interests include signal and image processing, bioengineering and biometrics, human automation, automatic control, artificial intelligence and aerospace technology.
