Author Guidelines

  • The conference accepts papers in English and Spanish. The scientific committee will particularly value papers submitted in English.
  • Authors should consult Instructions for Authors at Springer Website and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers.
  • Papers must be submitted in PDF format and can follow either the Full Paper format (12-15 pages) or the Short Paper format (6-10 pages), including main content and references.
  • Papers should not include the name of the author or any other type of personal information to preserve his/her anonymity.
  • Papers should be original, novel and unpublished. Furthermore, avoid proposing this paper in other journals or academic conferences simultaneously.
  • Submitted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review, ensuring the anonymity of both the reviewer and the author. Reviewers will be appointed by the Program Chairs and the Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the review committee's decision on the specified date.

Publication and Indexing

CIIS 2024 will publish papers approved by the review committee according to the following:
1. Approved papers will be published in the portal of the Conference on Systems Engineering Proceedings The publications will be arranged in a series identified with ISSN 2810-806X (online) and ISBN approved by the Peruvian National Library.
2. Papers will have a single identification number based on a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The DOI is managed by Crossref , so papers are easy to find, cite, link and reuse.
3. Payment of a fee to register one of the speakers is required to consider including one or more papers in the Conference Proceedings.
4. At least one author of the selected paper should attend the conference and submit and discuss his/her contribution following the guidelines to be provided by the CIIS 2024 organizing committee.
5. Best paper authors will be invited to prepare and submit extended versions to be considered, after a new peer review, for publication in the Interfases digital journal indexed in CrossRef, Dialnet, Latindex and DOAJ: Directory of Open Access Journals.
6. The portal of the Conference on Systems Engineering Proceedings meets the criteria set forth in the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE),, which defines the scope, duties, responsibilities and procedures for action in situations of investigative misconduct.

Note: The Interfases journal and the portal of the CIIS Proceedings are edited by the University of Lima and are indexed in Open Access Theses and Dissertations, Open Doar, BASE, Worldcat, Core.uk, Google scholar, ALICIA-Concytec, La Referencia, OpenAIRE.eu.
