The city of Lima, located on the central coast and on the shores of the Pacific, is one of the most important capitals of South America. Thanks to its diverse tourist, cultural and gastronomic attractions, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
During the dates on which the 6th International Conference on Systems Engineering is scheduled, Lima’s spring temperatures will fluctuate between 15 °C and 22 °C. Given its variable nature, it could occasionally have days with either sunshine or some drizzle which generally occur at night and in the early morning.

How to get to the University of Lima?
To get the University of Lima campus from the airport, land terminals or a hotel, you can book a taxi via phone or app. The University of Lima is located on Avenida Javier Prado Este 4600, in the district of Surco, a few meters from Jockey Plaza shopping mall.
Currency
The Peruvian currency is the sol (S/ or PEN). Banknotes are issued in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 soles. Coins come in denominations of 10, 20 and 50 cents, as well as 1, 2 and 5 soles. The University of Lima campus has Interbank, Scotiabank and Banco de Crédito ATMs. You can exchange dollars to soles at authorized exchange offices or at banks in the financial area of the Jockey Plaza shopping mall.
